Beer Chiller Repairs
PerthBeer Chillers, Glycol Systems & Keg Room Repairs for Pubs, Bars & Venues

Warm beer, foamy pours or a beer chiller that's stopped cooling — when your beer cooling fails mid-service, you need a technician who actually understands venue refrigeration. Tempo is commercial-only and services pubs, bars and function venues across Perth Metro.

Beer Chillers, Glycol Systems & Keg Room Specialists

There isn't a pub or tavern in Perth that doesn't rely on a beer chiller — sometimes called a super chiller — and when one stops working, warm beer hits the bar fast. Beer cooling covers more than just the chiller itself though. Glycol systems and keg room refrigeration both need to work in balance for your beer to pour correctly and your margins to stay where they should. A system that's slightly off temperature doesn't just affect the beer — it affects carbonation, head, wastage and customer perception.

Tempo is a commercial-only refrigeration specialist. We don't service domestic fridges — every job we attend is a commercial site, and venue refrigeration is a core part of what we do. Whether it's a beer chiller in a small bar, a glycol system in a large pub or a full multi-zone setup in a function centre, we diagnose the fault accurately and explain the fix before we start.

Our beer cooling work sits within our broader commercial refrigeration services across Perth — so if you also have coolroom or kitchen refrigeration issues, we can cover everything in one visit.

Beer Chiller Repairs

Super chillers repaired and serviced — the most common piece of equipment in any Perth pub or tavern.

Glycol System Repairs

Glycol chiller faults, pump failures, temperature drift and line issues diagnosed and repaired fast.

Keg Room Refrigeration

Keg room coolroom repairs and servicing — temperature control, compressor faults and airflow issues.

Planned Maintenance

Regular servicing to keep your system dialled in — before warm beer or a foamy pour costs you a busy night.

Recognise Any of These?

These are the signs venues call us about. Most have a straightforward diagnosis — but left unattended they get expensive fast.

Beer chiller not cooling

Super chillers fail like any refrigeration unit — compressor faults, refrigerant loss or a condenser that needs cleaning. Every pub has one and when it stops, warm beer follows immediately.

Beer coming out warm

Could be the beer chiller itself, a glycol system fault, refrigerant loss or a pump that's lost flow. Often happens overnight when the system runs unattended.

Excessive foam or overpouring

Beer that's too warm or a line temperature that's drifted will break carbonation and foam up in the glass. A temperature issue, not a gas issue.

Glycol chiller running constantly

Refrigerant loss or a dirty condenser forces the chiller to work harder than it should. Energy bills climb and the system wears out faster.

Keg room not holding temperature

A failing compressor, door seal issue or refrigerant leak in the keg room coolroom. Warm kegs mean warm beer from the first pour.

Glycol levels dropping

A leak in the glycol circuit — in the chiller unit or a line connection. Needs pressure testing and a proper repair, not just a top-up.

Beer Chiller Repairs — FAQs

Do you repair beer chillers and super chillers?

Yes. Beer chillers — sometimes called super chillers — are one of the most common callouts we get from Perth pubs and taverns. We repair compressor faults, refrigerant loss, condenser issues and anything else that causes the unit to stop cooling properly.

My beer is coming out warm — what's the problem?

Most commonly a beer chiller or glycol chiller fault, refrigerant loss or a pump that's lost flow. It can also be a keg room temperature issue if the kegs themselves are warm before they hit the lines. We diagnose on the first visit.

Do you repair glycol beer cooling systems?

Yes. Glycol chiller repairs, refrigerant regas and pump replacements are all within our scope. We work with all major glycol chiller brands used in Perth venues.

Can you service our keg room coolroom as well?

Yes. We cover keg room coolrooms as part of our coolroom repairs service. If your keg room and glycol system both need attention, we can assess everything in one visit.

Do you offer 24/7 emergency callouts for venues?

Yes. We provide 24/7 emergency breakdown support. If your beer cooling fails during service or overnight before a big day, call 08 9223 1213 directly.

Do you work with small bars as well as large pubs?

Yes. We service everything from small single-tap bars to large multi-zone pub systems and function centres. Commercial-only — no domestic work.

Can you set up a maintenance schedule for our venue?

Yes. A planned maintenance program is the most effective way to prevent beer cooling failures before they happen — especially heading into Perth's summer. We tailor schedules to your trading hours.

Are you licensed for refrigerant work on glycol chillers?

Yes. All refrigerant work is performed by ARCtick licensed technicians. Our licence number is AU065580.

What areas do you cover?

We service all Perth Metro suburbs. Based in Osborne Park, we have fast access to Northbridge, Fremantle, Subiaco, Victoria Park and all surrounding areas where most of Perth's venues are concentrated.
